I was born in Moscow, Russia, within the sound of the Kremlin chimes. Was an English professor and then conference interpreter at the International Monetary Fund. Relocated to the US in 2000 to work for the IMF as a freelance interpreter. Have always liked photography and like to share my vision of the people and the world around..

Statement

I am an amateur photographer with a love for everything that captures the mind and spirit. Most of my photographs are taken while traveling the world, with a very basic iphone camera. It is the subject matter of these works and their uniqueness that is important to me, and this is what I am happy to share with you as my audience and friends.

Biography

Lyuba Hubbard has a rich experience of living and working in many countries of the world and her photography reflects her world-wide vision and love for all things living. In her art, she is not trying to create imaginative constructs, but tries to capture details that touch the mind and the soul. She is trying to create something that grows on you as you keep looking at it again and again, something that you want to revisit and that creates a strong emotional bond with her subject matter, whatever it may be.
